In the winter months, Wolfies is conveniently located 15 feet from the nearest snowmobile trailhead right next door to Rocky Mountain National Park and directly across the street from Grand Adventures snowmobile rentals! Did we mention that Grand Lake is one of the top sledding hot spots in the US? The entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park can be seen from our dining area. Trailridge road that runs through the park is open early summer through the fall months and has an average of 4 million visitors every year! The spring and summer months bring out the most amazing wildlife and gorgeous wildflowers you've ever seen! There's so much to do here including hiking, biking trails, fishing, bicycle rentals, ATVing, boating, and so much more. Leaf peepers unite here in the fall to catch a glimpse of the stunning aspens along the three lakes and mountains. They named it "Grand County" back in the day for a darn good reason! No matter what season you visit us, you'll never be disappointed with the majestic beauty and truly unique atmosphere here. We sit at just over 8,400 feet above sea level with a mountain view that's sure to take your breath away!
